The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024. Interested candidates can now apply online for Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Junior Level) from 17 September 2024 to 16 October 2024. Ensure to check the eligibility criteria, category-wise vacancies, exam details, and other essential information before applying.

  • Application Begin: 17 September 2024
  • Last Date for Registration: 16 October 2024
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 16 October 2024
  • CTET Exam Date: 01 December 2024
  • Admit Card Available: Before the exam
  • Answer Key Available: After the exam
  • Result Declared: To be notified soon

Application Fees:

  • For Single Paper:
    • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1000
    • SC/ST/PH: ₹500
  • For Both Papers:
    • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1200
    • SC/ST/PH: ₹600

Payment Methods: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan.

Eligibility Criteria:

Primary Level (Class I to V):

  1. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pursuing a 2-year Diploma in accordance with NCTE regulations.
  3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pursuing a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pursuing a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

Junior Level (Class VI to VIII):

  1. Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and pursuing a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pursuing a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  4. Graduation with at least 50% marks and pursuing a B.Ed. (Special Education).

How to Apply for CTET December 2024:

  1. Visit the official CBSE CTET website.
  2. Fill out the online application form between 17/09/2024 to 16/10/2024.
  3. Select your preferred exam center as the availability is limited.
  4. Ensure you have all required documents ready for upload (ID proof, eligibility documents, scanned photo, and signature).
